As a result cinema advertising is one of the fastest growing advertising mediums in the U.S. Total cinema advertising industry revenue grew 23% from 2003 to 2004, including on- and off-screen advertising. Cinema advertising industry revenue hit $438 million in 2004, up from $356 million in 2003. Compared to 2002, cinema advertising revenue grew 69%, from $259 million to $438 million.
